Sometimes change comes through visionary leadership and sometimes through protest and prophets. Queen Esther, a Jewish immigrant in Babylon who saves her people, and The Philadelphia Eleven, the first women to become Episcopal priests in 1974, are examples of how we too may be called to be part of God’s purpose "at just such a time."  (Esther 7:1-6, 9-10; 9:20-22 and Mark 9:38-50)
